Past events like North Star Reach’s popular Halloween Glow and Light Show Drive-Thru (volunteers pictured above) and Interstellar 5K Trail Run are important community-building and awareness-raising events for our camp–and they help to raise important funds too.
Throughout the year, North Star Reach also hosts a variety of important fundraising events to raise the money needed to send children with serious health challenges and their families to camp, all at no cost to them. Volunteers are a driving force behind the success of our events, and there are many roles to play. During the pandemic, our primary fundraising events have been virtual, including our annual Camp-a-Thon fundraiser and Giving Tuesday events.
